The second workshop SWING (“Spin waves for advanced signal processing”) will take place in Paris (Sorbonne Université Campus) on May 20nd and 21st 2025.
The goal of this workshop is to gather the French community working in the broad field of magnonics (i.e. physics and technologies of spin waves), which is the focus of the SWING project, funded by the nationwide program PEPR Spin.
Through oral and poster presentations, this workshop will showcase the recent progress of our young PhD students and of their groups. We will also take this opportunities to crosslink our work with other PEPR SPIN projects and foreign laboratories.
The workshop is free of charge, but accommodation and travel are not covered.

For those who registered for meals:
we'll share a dinner at "Le Temps des Cerises", in the Butte aux Cailles. We need to be on site at 19h, it's a 20min metro+walk from Jussieu.
a lunch will be available on the Wednesday at 12h at the Ardoise restaurant on the campus (around 11€ for 3 courses)

just before the "M&MEMS" workshop (May 22nd, 23rd), organized by P. Rovillain and M. Marangolo [rovillain@insp.jussieu.fr & marangolo@insp.jussieu.fr]. There will be informal symposia for SWING/M&MEMS participants on the 21st afternoon/22nd morning. Please contact the organizers if interested.
